Well Done, Sox
I enjoyed that very much. Wouldn't have minded seeing Lowe pitch another inning or two, thank you, but it's hard to complain. OK, I will complain. Fox, where the hell were the shots of Steinbrenner?

Georgie Porgie, puddin' pie
Kissed the girls and made them cry

I, too, was wondering where the hell is George? I suspect he was hunkered down in a bunker within the stadium. His PR people were probably wise enough to hide, anticipating the fallout if cameras caught him in full meltdown. But did you see Cashman? He looked like a rube anticipating a lashing from Uncle George.

As a Yankee fan and baseball purist, I applaud the Bosox win. You can deal with losing by crying in your beer and whining or let it build character. I love the Yanks but they need to reflect on their 2004 post-season, start building their farm system again, get their scouts off their butts and build for the future with better player choices. Having money to buy things, like the Old Man has, doesn't assure value or class. Go Sox -- Beat the Birds.
PS Joe Buck's an asshole.
